Job Title: Hotel Assistant General Manager

Reports To: General Manager

Pay: $36,000 - $45,000 per year

Summary:

The Hotel Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of two By the Sea Resorts hotels. They oversee all aspects of the hotels' operations, including guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales. The Hotel Assistant General Manager (AGM) must be able to manage staff effectively, resolve problems quickly and efficiently, and provide excellent customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the operations of two By the Sea Resorts hotels, including guest services, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales.
• Manage hotel staff and ensure that they are meeting all hotel standards.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks.
• Train new staff members.
• Inspect hotel facilities and ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
• Resolve guest complaints and issues.
• Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement new hotel procedures and policies.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
• Work with the general manager to develop and implement the hotels' overall business strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred)
• 3 years of experience in a hotel management role
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

This position is full-time and may require evening and weekend work. Must be able to sill in if there are call outs that are not able to be filled.
