Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

- Assist with mobility and transfers

- Help with meal preparation and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Implement behavior management techniques for patients with challenging behaviors

- Provide specialized care for seniors and individuals with dementia

Skills:

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and ability to take vital signs

- Experience working in nursing homes or similar healthcare settings

- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and adherence to HIPAA regulations

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
