Palmer & Barr, a prominent insurance defense firm, has a tremendous opportunity available for an experienced attorney to join its growing team in Willow Grove. Hybrid position offers some remote opportunities.

Job Description:

As an Experienced Trial Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense, you will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload and defending clients in various insurance matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional litigation skills, courtroom experience, and a deep understanding of insurance law.

Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Effectively manage a caseload of Insurance Defense matters, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, and other related claims.
  • Litigation Strategy: Develop and implement sound litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Courtroom Representation: Conduct hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, representing clients in state and federal courts.
  • Legal Research: Stay abreast of legal developments, statutes, and case law related to Insurance Defense, and apply this knowledge to cases.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to achieve settlements when appropriate.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in Insurance Defense litigation.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of successful trial experience.
