Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Duties:
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Follow proper procedures for medication storage, handling, and disposal
- Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accurate medication dosages
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug names, classifications, and uses
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing pharmacy practice

Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred
- Active certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Previous experience working in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures and aseptic technique is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
