Palm Beach Tan Inc. is Hiring a Senior Staff Accountant Near Coppell, TX
- Post routine and complex journal entries to the general ledger.
- Maintain monthly accruals and accounting schedules.
- Prepare month-end and year-end general ledger reconciliations and reporting.
- Oversee Real Estate transactions, including ASC 842 accounting responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate and communicate to support overall company and department goals.
- Utilize all technology, staff, and departments in order to conduct complex accounting projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Advanced knowledge in Excel.
- Extensive experience of accounting practices and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to change and embrace new technologies.
- Self-motivated team player that can multi-task and work independently on assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Proficiency in MRI ProLease or other Commercial Lease Management Software.
- Working knowledge of new lease standards, including ASC 842.
- Multi-unit retail industry experience is a plus.
