Palladin Consulting, LLC DBA Palladin Technologies is Hiring a Remote Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

THE ROLE

As a Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will be an integral part of our Sales and Solutions Team. Partnering with our Account Executives, you will lead both pre and post-sales activities, acting as the technical adviser to understand the client’s challenges and system requirements for the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for producing the solution and ensuring that the associated scope, estimates, and duration reflect Palladin's best practices and align with our delivery team’s approach. The Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Architect plays a meaningful role in both presales and implementation, setting clients up for success by shaping, scoping, and solutioning to maximize measurable value and success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive both pre and post-sales activities to develop and articulate comprehensive implementation proposals for potential prospects/clients. This can include developing technical solutions to align to prospect/client missions, objectives, business needs, and goals.
  • Ability to correctly scope Salesforce project (proposed solution, timeframe, estimate, and future phases) based on pre/post sales efforts
  • Align closely with the Sales team by leading pre-sales activities such as the development of client-specific proposals, SOWs, and staffing plans, engaging with other SMEs across the organization to gain consensus on an acceptable proposal
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services to develop unique solutions for new and existing customers
  • Develop and manage sale demos and tailor the demos for prospect/client scenarios.
  • Bring standard processes to each engagement through your deep platform expertise by providing the Professional Services team with Subject Matter Expertise related to the Salesforce Clouds being implemented.
  • Ability to facilitate discovery workshops to support project scoping efforts
  • Translate customer requirements into multi-phase roadmaps
  • Articulate complex Salesforce features to ensure client understanding during the sales process
  • Assist in proposal and SOW development.
  • Provide support in responding to RFI/RFPs
  • Act as a lead to optimize designs and solutions for high-impact business outcomes.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4 years experience delivering consulting services, including team leadership and active involvement in selling professional services through technical solutioning expertise
  • 3 years of direct experience delivering and/or overseeing solutions development on the Salesforce platform
  • 2 years of sizing and scoping Salesforce projects
  • 2 years of Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution experience.
  • Ability to develop customer relationships, understand their businesses, and develop a shared vision for accelerating their business success with Salesforce.
  • Deep problem-solving skills and the ability to help solve problems with minimal background and a fast ramp-up
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing/Healthcare cloud is nice to have
  • Passion for learning new technology within the Salesforce platform and conducting learning workshops to Palladin Staff members (showcasing the art of the possible)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, executive-level presence, and experience in working in a client advisory role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as solution architecture tradeoffs, Road mapping, Enterprise Transformation strategy, and executive-level requirement gathering sessions
  • Bachelor's degree or professional qualification.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • At least one of Salesforce Application or System Architect certifications
  • This role is a Remote/Telecommute position with the ability to travel up to 10-30%
