The Materials Handler assists with and / or performs the physical and administrative functions required to ship, receive, store, cycle count and distribute materials, parts, supplies, chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

• Unpack and check goods received against purchase order invoices and storage specifications
• Maintain records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items
• Lift heavy items up to 45 / lbs and will be standing and walking for long periods of time
• Operating a forklift and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Prepare goods for shipment and maintain records of shipped goods
• Examine, stock and distributes materials
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quality and safety standards at all times
• Ability and desire to work in a team-orientated environment

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic math and computer skills
• Able to read, understand and adhere to detailed policies, instructions and procedures
