Job Summary:
Join our marketing team as a Web Coordinator, where you'll play a vital role in managing and optimizing our digital presence. Key responsibilities include:
- Website Content: Update and maintain content on our website and related digital channels.
- Blog Creation: Write and edit engaging blog posts.
- E-Commerce Oversight: Manage our retail e-commerce platform and track online reviews.
- Snow Reporting: Provide daily snow updates and manage related digital content.

Responsibilities:
Web:
- Update website content and prepare for campaigns and events.
- Optimize the web experience with the Alterra digital team.
- Manage website chatbot, ensuring effective Q&A and content performance.
- Oversee the retail e-commerce site, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
- Respond to and track online reviews, supporting social media comments as needed.
- Write and edit blogs, including daily weather updates.
- Assist with SEO tasks and manage the SiteImprove project log.
- Provide morning snow reports for all channels.
- Update digital signage as necessary.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and strategy sessions.
- Report on digital analytics for web, chatbot, app, and reviews.
- Act as a liaison between retail and marketing.
- Strong writing and proofreading skills.
- Experience in content creation and development.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of setting goals.
- Ability to walk, stand, and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Occasional squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Work in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold and storms.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or communications, or equivalent experience; 1 year of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Sitecore CMS or WordPress, and web-based applications.
- Photoshop and graphic design experience are a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO, HTML, CSS, and web analytics tools is beneficial.
- Passion for the ski resort environment, especially Palisades Tahoe, is highly valued.
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Base hourly pay range: $18.68 - $29.38 per hour
