Introduction

PALFINGER is looking for a forklift operator to take finished components from production and prepare them for storage, shipping or loading.

Responsibilities

• This position will utilize a forklift on a daily basis.
• You will need to be skilled in the movement and placement of material in close spaces, precision splitting and stacking of a load, pallet, bundles, etc.
• Maintain productivity levels consistent with the need of the loading and shipping / receiving departments.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to climb onto truck trailers for loading and inspection.
• Frequently lift 60 to 100 pounds.
• Have yard depth perception for placing items correctly.
• Mechanically inclined.
• A CDL license a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work loads.
