Summary:

To guarantee that every product manufactured meets the quality standards set by both customers and PakTech, and adheres to established quality criteria, specifications, and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• In-process inspections to ensure parts being produced merit all customer and PakTech’s quality requirements per inspection plan and other specified requirements
• Rounds are to be as frequent as necessary based on requirements.
• Audit boxes and auxiliary equipment for conformance to startup and qualification parameters.
• Audit packaging and labels to ensure all merit customer and PakTech’s quality requirements.
• Ensure box labels are correctly placed, initialed, and boxes correctly palletized.
• Collect relative data for documenting and tracking of jobs running.
• Verify UPC and DECO Labels being applied (i.e. accuracy, adhesion, placement, etc.)
• Random 100% box inspections (as designated) for conformance to standards.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming product and material to be placed on HOLD.
• Document required information from our quality documents onto job travelers as needed.
• Aid production operations and inspection staff with all quality issues.
• Participate in rework activities as needed.
• Housekeeping inside Quality Assurance Lab.

Qualification and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED
• 3 months of experience of Machine Operator duties or equivalent (preferred)
• Quality Inspector Training (Box Inspections)
• Completion of in-house quality training programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
