Summary: Assist the Count Team Supervisor with training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, counseling, and supervising the Count Team Attendants. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, federal and state laws governing monetary transactions and company policies, procedures and controls.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Maintains all records, reports and other required paperwork in the count division
• Handles the slot coin and bill validator drop pick-ups, weighing, wrapping, canning and transferring the slot coin drop to the coin vault
• Report and assist the supervisor of all Count Team Attendants including issues of concern and implement problem-solving techniques
• Assist with the opening of slot validator cans.
• Responsible of signing in/out keys from Key Watcher
• Request service on machinery when needed when Supervisor is not present
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 6 months of relevant work experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Previous computer skills
• Ability to operate 10-key, jet count, and currency counter
• Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

Work Cards:

• Gaming Registration
• Valid NV Drivers’ License
• 10-year DMV Driving History Report

Physical Requirements:

• Constantly standing at least 75% of the time
• Regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying, bending and kneeling
• Physical condition for repetitive movement
• Vision, hearing, speech, phone, radio, and literacy (critical)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
• Additional conditions include the ever-present hazard of sharp edges in and around the slot machines, and poor air quality inside the count room due to excessive dust
