Summary:

Responsible for assisting general public in the bowling center. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and policies and procedures.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Extending courtesy in all areas of work environment.
• Responsible for individual bank.
• Assign open lanes to customers; maintain a reservation list when busy.
• Collects proper cash and/or credit card.
• Rent shoes and help customers locate house bowling balls.
• Notify mechanics promptly of any stoppages or failures that might occur.
• Keep alert for children or customers who may be disturbing others.
• Maintain daily records of operation as required.
• Pleasant personality, honest character and the capability to understand balancing procedures.
• Ability to operate Front Desk System, typing and calculator.
• Maintain restrooms (i.e., supplies & cleanliness).
• Wash towels.
• Wipe down settee tables & table tops after use of lanes.
• Sweep floors.
• Keep bowling center clean.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents maintenance instructions, and other related documents
• Ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Able to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
• Able to accurately perform basic math skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Verify right to work in the United States

• Requires being mobile ninety (90) percent of the shift
• Prolonged walking and standing
• Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, and kneel
• Reaching 12 to 24 inches across counter
