Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health (formerly Coney Island Hospital) located in Southern Brooklyn. Our maternity care team features board-certified and fellowship-trained physicians and an experienced team of certified sonographers, take great care in helping women manage their health at every stage of pregnancy, childbirth, delivery, and infancy. Approximately 1,100 births annually.

We specialize in the diagnosis and management of obstetric, medical, surgical, and fetal complications of pregnancy. We perform advanced pregnancy ultrasound, consultations, genetic testing and counseling, fetal testing and support for high risk pregnancies.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Provide direct obstetric and gynecologic care to patients, including ambulatory care clinics, in-patient services, and on-call coverage nights and weekends.
• Provide gynecological surgical care to patients, including minimally invasive techniques.
• Provide generalist obstetric and gynecologic care to patients.
• Provide supervision and teaching to Fellows, Residents and Medical Students, including didactic sessions.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities, as directed by department leadership.
• 40 hours per week, 8a - 4p.

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
• Laproscopic skills
• Experience with minimally invasive surgery (or training)
• Experience or training in robotic surgery
• Interest in teaching
• Russian fluency a plus, language skills in Chinese (mandarin) and Hebrew also helpful

Annual salary = $260,000 Board Eligible / $270,000 Board Certified status
