Sr. Network Security Engineer (Atlanta, GA)
The Sr. Security Engineer is responsible for the management and support of security protection tools such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), network detection and response (NDR), security information and event management (SIEM), network access control (NAC), email gateway, next-generation firewall (Palo Alto), intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and user access provisioning. The engineer should be able to work with the Security Architect and the Infrastructure team during the testing and implementation of security tools. In order to be successful in this role, the candidate needs to be able to work on multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment and be able to learn quickly.
We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information assurance, or related discipline; five years of experience in information technology, and six years of security engineering experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. The right candidate will have a good Security and/or IT certification such as GIAC is strongly recommended.
