PADNOS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The Janitor plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our facility. The primary responsibility will be to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust, dirt, and debris.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms: Sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Clean tables, countertops, microwaves.
- Empty trash bins: Collect and dispose of waste materials, ensuring proper segregation and adherence to recycling guidelines.
- Dust and wipe surfaces: Clean desks, tables, chairs, shelves, and other furniture to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas: Clean and organize break rooms, conference rooms, and other shared spaces.
- Handle spills and accidents: Promptly address any spills, leaks, or accidents to prevent slips, falls, or other hazards.
- Restock cleaning supplies: Monitor inventory levels and ensure an adequate supply of cleaning products, toiletries, and other necessary items.
- Perform maintenance tasks: Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel, such as broken fixtures or faulty equipment.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals, using personal protective equipment, and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members: Coordinate with other janitorial staff to divide tasks efficiently and ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly.
- Maintain records: Keep track of cleaning schedules, inventory, and maintenance requests for documentation purposes.
- Uphold professional standards: Demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and professionalism while interacting with colleagues and visitors.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
