Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our team. As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, slicing, and dicing
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, grinders, and slicers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer questions and fulfilling special requests
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food preparation or culinary role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic retail math for cash handling purposes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
