Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist
Duties:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals who used/ have used substances
- Utilize knowledge of mental health systems/ substance use treatment systems to navigate and advocate for clients
- Conduct individual sessions to promote recovery and wellness
- Collaborate with teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist clients in setting and achieving personal goals
- Facilitate educational workshops and support groups
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Skills:
- Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist
- Strong understanding of systems and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide non-judgmental support and empathy
- Knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
