Warehouse Associate- Elgin, IL (Part-Time): 15-29 Hours/Week

Schedule: Availability between M-F 8am-4pm

About the Role

We are looking for motivated individuals for our part-time Warehouse Associate role. The Associate will be responsible for the operation of machinery that produces custom corrugated boxes. We operate in a modern warehouse production environment with on-the-job training. This position requires the ability and willingness to work with technology centered machines to fulfill customer orders. There are uncapped production bonuses associated with this role for increased earning potential.

***Hourly rate starts between $17.00-$18.00/hr. depending on shift and experience, with production bonus earning potential averaging $21.00/hr.***

What You'll Do

• Effective and timely completion of work orders

• Responsible for quality control of work orders and raw material

• Complete production schedule with your team

• Stacking and wrapping of finished products

• Ensure workspace is organized and clean

• Ensure safety protocols are followed

• Once trained, operate forklift as directed

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Warehouse and/or production experienced preferred

• Ability to maintain quality-control standards

• Ability to effectively multi-task while executing production plan set by leadership

• Team player with a strong customer focus

• Skilled problem solver with ability to work in a rapidly growing environment

• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Work involves significant time standing and frequent lifting of materials/product (up to 40 pounds). Manual dexterity is required to operate machines. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, hard toed boots, etc. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
