Driver/Transport Driver
Package Pro Express Delivery, Inc is a leader in providing emergency home service to the community. We are looking for 1-2 Drivers/Transport Drivers to join our team.
As a Driver/Transport Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages to various locations in the community. This is a great position for someone who wants to work in the service industry but does not have any experience. You will be driving a company vehicle and working directly with businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Safely drive and transport items to various locations in the community.
·Ensure all transportation paperwork is completed correctly and timely.
·Ensure all transportation paperwork is complete and accurate upon completion.
·Communicate with office staff on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
·Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles on a daily basis and report any mechanical issues immediately.
·Report any accidents immediately and attempt to stop any damages from happening.
·Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND BIO
·Must be at least 25 years old or older for insurance purposes.
·High school diploma or GED equivalent. – Preferably some experience working in a driver’s/transport position. No special license. – No CDL required – Just valid driver’s license State ID Card. - Must maintain excellent driving record (DMV). - Must maintain good attendance throughout your shift (DMV). - Must follow all DOT regulations per Federal DOT regulations apply to this position (822). - Must possess computer knowledge of Google Maps and Sheets. - Able to lift 50 pounds (approx.). - Ability to work independently without supervision (assistance from other employees or outside vendors) - Able to pass DOT physical exam

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
