Summary:
The Senior Manager, Peer to Peer Marketing, will lead the strategy and execution of the Commercial Speaker Bureau and Peer to Peer programs, ensuring alignment with EXPAREL, iovera, and ZILRETTA brand goals. They will partner with speakers and brand leads on deck development and strategy, oversee the development of HCP training materials and virtual training programs, and ensure compliance with operation requirements. Additionally, they collaborate with internal teams, manage professional engagements, and contribute to marketing strategy and budgeting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of the Commercial Speaker Bureau and Peer to Peer programs.
  • Ensure strategy across all programs and execution is aligned with EXPAREL, iovera, and ZILRETTA brand goals.
  • Self-starter, solutions oriented and can function autonomously
  • Partner with speakers and brand leads on deck development and strategy for speaker programs specific to each vertical
  • Develop KPIs for engagement programs and vertical specific programs based on yearly business goals
  • Oversee the development of HCP training materials as well as virtual training programs in adherence with established compliance guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with operation requirements for all Speaker Bureau nominations and other HCP engagements including contracting, documentation, and records retention.
  • Liaison with contracted Pacira Speaker’s on content and program objectives
  • Seek, understand and relate field feedback to brand regarding promotional programming Partner with Sales team on monitoring and securing programs
  • Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships
  • Collaborate appropriately with other Field teams to enable the local/account-level engagement with Commercial Speakers
  • Contribute to the annual brand planning and budgeting process.
Interaction:
Will collaborate closely with employees in all other functional areas and directly with the commercial team.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing or project coordination, preferably in a business development or pharmaceutical/biotech/medical devices environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Marketing or closely related field from accredited college or university

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience managing speaker bureau or peer to peer programs.
  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of strategies to respond to unique or challenging market dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize projects effectively
  • Strong written and oral English communications skills, strong presentation skills; proven ability to interact successfully with all levels of the organization as well as vendors and outside constituents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of reference and bibliographic software and creation of reference databases are essential
  • Ability to successfully work cross-functionally
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
