Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the housekeeping operations of a hotel or hospitality establishment
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a related field within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using housekeeping software systems for scheduling, inventory management, etc.
- Knowledge of laundering procedures for linens, towels, etc.
Note: Experience in managing housekeeping operations within a hotel setting is highly preferred.
