Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring collaboration among office, construction, and estimating administration staff to meet deadlines and maintain standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of running efficient and safe construction sites. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, along with OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight: Supervise all phases of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

3. Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on job sites, conducting regular inspections and promoting a safety-first culture.

4. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control, overseeing inspections and addressing any deficiencies promptly.

5. Resource Management: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.

6. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues.

7. Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and schedules closely, identifying and addressing any deviations to ensure projects stay on track.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.

Requirements:

1. Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of successfully supervising projects of varying size and complexity.

2. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.

3. Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and resources effectively.

4. Safety Certifications: OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred), CPR certification, and a comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

5. Bilingualism: Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

6. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials, coupled with the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.

7. Problem-Solving Abilities: Proactive problem solver with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.

8. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
