We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team and drive the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our wood component manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizational management and operations within a manufacturing environment. Experience in lumber yard management is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of supervisors, production staff, and other personnel, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including raw materials and finished products, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Budget Management: Manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and budget adherence.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. Experience in lumber yard management is a significant plus.
