Pacific Truck Colors, Inc., commonly referred to as PTC, is an employee-owned, local business. In March of 1992, PTC leased a building in Portland, Oregon, and began painting with five employees. In February of 1993, PTC moved into a new 12,500 sq. ft. building in Tualatin, Oregon. We started with one 60 ft., flash dry, 2.5 million BTU, cross draft with filter in and out air paint booth. Due to our growing business, we realized the need for additional space, so in June of 1999, we completed our expansion which doubled the size of our facility. In 2003 we installed an additional 40 ft., flash dry, 2.8 million BTU paint booth. In 2007 we expanded an additional 2000 sq. ft. to handle our expanding van interior upfits. Today our facility has 27,000 sq. ft., two paint booths, and over 30 employees to serve your fleet needs.

From painting only, PTC has moved into different fields of opportunity. We currently have six departments that consist of Truck and Van Equipment Sales, Parts, Service and Installation, Graphics, Collision Repair, and Painting. Our state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with the finest fleet service tools and staffed with knowledgeable and professional personnel. We have the flexibility to accommodate any size fleet, even if it is just one truck!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and install vinyl graphics including decals, full and partial wraps, racing/rally stripes, company/fleet markings on vehicles.
• Use appropriate installation tools and techniques while installing to various types of surfaces
• Cut, weed, mask, and install vinyl lettering. Laminate printed images
• Maintain proper tools, materials, and product inventories

Required Skills:

• Some experience installing printed/cut vinyl graphics of varying size
• Close attention to detail and with the ability to distinguish different shades of color
• Comfortable with SOLO installation including vehicle wraps, racing/rally/factory stripes, decals
• Some experience weeding and masking of digitally cut vinyl
• Skilled in the use of standard installation tools including ladders, scaffolds, scissor/bucket lifts
• Minor disassembly of vehicle hardware: door handles/locks, head/tail-lights, and reassembly
• Dependable, accountable, trustworthy, and self-motivated. Able to listen and follow instructions
• Ability to work: a) as a member of a team and; b) occasional overtime / weekends
• Must have valid driver license and be insurable
• 3M, Avery, Lowen Installation Certification is a PLUS!
• Graphic Design experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Paint Protection Film / "clear bra" Installation Experience/Competence is a PLUS!

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
