Reports to (Supervises/Liaison): SUMMARY We are looking for a Cyber Operations Planner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Develops detailed plans to support Functional Mission Analysis-Cyber efforts (FMA-C), which includes defining objectives, identifying targets or assets to protect, specifying actions to be taken, and establishing timelines and resource requirements for the execution of operations • Coordinates efforts and ensures effective communication and collaboration throughout the planning and execution of cyber operations • Conducts research and evaluate technical analysis with specific emphasis on network and cyber operations tactics, techniques, and procedures focused on the threat to networked space and cyberspace platforms and US and DoD information networks • Responsible for evaluating and understanding the level of effort required to implement defined security solutions • Provides support to full spectrum Joint, Coalition, Inter-agency, Allies and Industry space and cyberspace planning activities NECESSARY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE • Must have extensive knowledge and experience planning cyber assessment missions to include mission planning, schedule development, mission reporting, site coordination, and product development • Must have the ability to solve complex problems involving a wide variety of information systems • Must be able to understand and differentiate between critical and non-critical systems and networks, and capabilities that allow organizations to defend better, react faster, coordinate rapidly, prioritize efforts, and respond smarter to security events, increased risks, and/or operational directives • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written • Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, skills) • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Joint Operations Planner and a complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance • TS/SCI Required • IAT Level II
