Our team wakes up Monday mornings excited to help others change their lives! We are a treatment center in Newport Beach looking for that high energy individual who is seasoned and knows the fast-paced involvement in helping others heal in their addiction. We have a strong foundation that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with the 12 Steps.
Job duties include but not limited to: Medication witnessing, Intakes, documentation and auditing, follow up with clients to ensure enforcement of house and program rules at all times, chores completed, rooms clean, beds made, houses clean, etc. Aid with IOP clients being awake and ready to participate for groups, meetings and outings, as well as overall safety on outings. To aid in sober living clients being out participating in life whether work or school. To ensure all vacant rooms are move in ready, and over all cleanliness of house and supplies are up to program standards.
Must perform well under pressure as well as have excellent communication skills. Must have at least one year clean and sober. Experience with California Alcohol and Drug programs is not necessary, but very beneficial.
Our Tech team is responsible for maintaining and keeping the clients safe, the house running smoothly and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment at all times.
Skills and Competency:
Ability to listen actively when spoken to and effectively communicate thoughts to others. Is able to work alone, but also as a team player with fellow staff and actively seek out advice and/or guidance in order to solve problems. The Candidate will need excellent time management skills and be able to use a variety of methods and ideas to solve problems, while also being open to suggestions from others in order to find solutions.
Pacific Shores is seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician to join our team in the Newport Beach, CA area. This position is responsible for the administration and management of clients in a mental health setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in providing quality care to both adults and children with a professional and compassionate approach to each client.
