Summary: 
As a Financial Analyst at Pacific Seafood, you will play a key role as a liaison between the finance/accounting teams and the Processing and Resource Sales divisions, supporting efforts to conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. This position involves collecting and analyzing financial information for processing business units and/or resource sales team to track the divisions’ progress against financial goals and is ideal for someone who is a financial analytics and statistical subject matter expert, able to effectively resolve complex issues with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze sales, production, and financial data in order to budget, forecast and report performance.
  • Partner with controller team to provide analysis and reporting necessary for the monthly and/or quarterly evaluation of Accruals, Reserves, and Fair Value.
  • Partner with operational leaders to implement new initiatives, create simplified resources and tools which align daily operational direction with overall strategic vision, and provide hands-on training for team members at all levels.
  • Maintain the Divisional KPI scorecard, keeping it up to date.
  • Partner with leaders in the analysis of Merger & Acquisition opportunities. 
  • Be responsive to changes in project priorities. 
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance or related Field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
  • Fish processing industry finance experience.
  • Previous reporting system, database, SAP experience.
Salary Range: $78,763 - $98,454
