Summary:

A Farm Lead is responsible for overseeing and efficiently leading the Farm Crew and the daily operations of the Farm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a team leader for the Farm Crew.
• Be responsible and accountable for crew completing daily work.
• Assign job duties to crew members.
• Ensure crew members stay on track with daily tasks.
• Possess the ability to problem solve.
• Turn in daily paperwork to Manager.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently, lead a crew, and train others when necessary.
• Perform oyster care and husbandry.
• Ensuring that products get to their destination in a timely manner.
• Organize farm beds prior to product arrival with proper markers.
• Harvest and plant oysters.
• Work to continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Possess the ability to operate skiffs safely and efficiently in inclement weather and adverse conditions, while keeping them clean and in operating condition.
• Have the ability to effectively run other equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, and other motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent
• 1-2 years related experience

Preferred

• Prior experience in an aquaculture or production environment
• Experience with operating and trailering small boats
• Crane or dock hoist experience
• Prior forklift experience
• Valid driver’s license

Salary Range:

$17.68 - $21.57 Hourly
