Pacific Northwest Urology Specialists is Hiring a Patient Service Representative Near Bellingham, WA
Busy Urology Clinic looking for a full-time Patient Services Representative. PSR is responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out of the clinic as well as collecting payments and directing the flow of clinic operations.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Answer phones/check voicemail
- Check patients in and out of the clinic
- Schedule patient appointments/manage referrals
- Collect co-pays, co-insurance payments, etc.
- Verify insurance coverages
- Verify demographics and organize patient paperwork
- Scan, copy and fax as needed
- Perform similar and incidental duties as assigned
- Assist with departmental coverage as needed
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff and front staff to meet the needs of the patients

Salary is dependent on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off and retirement (w/ matching and profit sharing!).
Education: (minimum requirements)
High school graduation or GED.
Job-related Experience: (minimum requirements)
- One year medical office experience preferred
Job Knowledge and Skills: (minimum requirements)
- Must be able to speak, read and write the English language.
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
- Must be skilled in performance of basic computer/keyboard functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to organize work and establish priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
