Position: Caregiver

Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend, Nights
Pacific Medical Resources caregivers benefit from schedule flexibility, including full-time, part-time, weekend, and night shifts, allowing for a customized schedule based on your availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compassionate personal care and hygiene support to clients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management under supervision.
  • Foster emotional well-being by providing companionship and engaging in social activities with clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment through light housekeeping duties.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and Coordinators to ensure holistic care.
  • Document care provided and promptly report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervising nurse or case manager.

Requirements:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Experience in providing personal care and support to elderly or disabled individuals.
  • Required: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and coverage a plus!

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable with bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Navigating stairs and uneven surfaces with ease.
