Pacific Integrated Handling is Hiring an Installation Technician Near Tacoma, WA

GENERAL SCOPE: This position is responsible for performing scheduled service, repair, modifications, and total field support of automated storage equipment in the Pacific Northwest area as well as other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Perform on-site maintenance, modifications, troubleshooting, and repairs of automated storage equipment.
Interact with customers with a high level of professionalism and maintain good customer relations.
Maintain inventory and spare parts in service vehicle.
Complete daily reports and monthly expense reports.
Install rack and machinery.
· Other tasks as assigned by the Vice President – Systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma and experience with mechanical installation

· Familiar with the use of hand and power tools.
· Valid drivers’ license; insurable.
· Ability to obtain clearance, badges, and other certification necessary to gain access to all customer sites.
· Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
· Good problem solving skills.
· Ability to work a schedule that requires frequent travel, potential for after hours (on-call) and weekend work, and dynamic weekly schedule.

Pacific Integrated Handling was established in the Pacific Northwest in 1981 to provide automated material handling systems for warehouse and manufacturing environments. Over the years our expertise has expanded into additional areas such as clean rooms, hospitals and laboratories, solar panel manufacturing, food processing and many other industries.Our business has evolved to include custom structures, production lines, and ergonomic workstations for high-tech manufacturers. Our headquarters and manufacturing facility are based in Tacoma, Washington and we also have offices operate in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Texas. In addition to the aforementioned states, our sales territory also includes Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. We have installed systems and provided services to customers worldwide.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
