Pacific Construction Group is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Irvine, CA

About the Company

We are an Irvine based General Contractor with 30 years’ experience specializing in commercial and industrial construction.

We are seeking a Project Accountant to assist in our Irvine office.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience with Construction Progress Billings
  • Familiar with AIA Documents, Schedules of Values, Budgets
  • Understand Mechanics’ Lien Releases and Preliminary Notices
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Sage 100 Contractor and Procore is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work well both as a team and independently

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly owner progress billings
  • Follow up on and track all lien releases from our subcontractors and their suppliers
  • Route General Condition Invoices for Approval and enter in SAGE
  • Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation
  • Print Weekly Check Runs
  • Meet with PM’s weekly to review Project Budget in Preparation for Billing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
