Pacific Coast Trane is currently hiring a Warehouse Coordinator in our San Jose warehouse to perform various tasks related to accurate receipt, staging, storage, transfer, and delivery of HVAC parts and equipment.

SUMMARY

Responsible for the coordination of the stores on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging and delivering customer orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for staging, shipping and receiving parts, equipment, and

• Responsible for inventory

• Enters inventory into software

• May delivers parts to customer locations or job occasionally

• Practices safe material handling

• Filing of M/S’s, freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.

• Responsible for filing of freight claims for damaged

• Manages receipt, inspecting, and stocking

• Identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory

• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Good communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must posses basic math skills. Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement, and volume.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Driver’s License Forklift Certification
