Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking to fill a Pallet Repairerwith a qualified, capable individual for our Distribution Center (DC) in Lodi, California. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America. 

The Distribution Center is a 1.5m sq. ft. packaging, labeling and distribution facility with approximately 400 employees. The DC operation supports both retail and foodservice customers and labels, cases, and ships nationwide approximately fifty (50) million cases every year. With its advanced technology, commitment to quality control, and dedication to sustainability, our Distribution Center is a model for excellence in distribution and logistics.

Pay Rate: $27.17 per hour. Weekend and overtime hours required when needed. 

All candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:

• Inspect, sort, select, and transport pallets in need of repair or organization.
• Remove broken or otherwise unusable pallet boards and replace with new material.
• Repair or construct, nail, stack, arrange, and secure pallets.
• Move fully repaired, usable pallets to appropriate location(s).
• Procure lift truck parts, and other relevant tools or equipment.
• Operate forklift to load and offload trucks, and transport pallets goods, supplies, or equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard free work area.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance. 
• Relevant industrial experience. 
• Committed to safety and food safety, including use of appropriate protective equipment. 
• Self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills.
