POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Packaging Line Superintendent, this position supports the Packaging area (line 4); and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Unload brick from kiln cars and palletize • Sort brick according to specifications • Throw brick that does not meet quality standards onto grog belt • Unclog grog belt or re-stock plastic as needed • Re-stock packaging line with pallets and/or wood strips • Clean on or around grog belt and kiln cars • Maintains work area according to company specifications for cleanliness and safety • All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representative • Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. • Predictable and Regular in-person attendance is required, includes overtime and weekends as needed. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
