- Operates forklift to transport blocks.
- Arranges blocks properly in yard by color, keeping piles straight.
- Checks blocks for quality problems.
- Checks with cuber on blocks coming out on cubing line and unloads cubing line.
- Able to count pallets and put tags on each pallet.
- Fill out properly shift production report.
- Communicate any problems or issues to your supervisor.
- Teamwork player.
- Able to report and fill out maintenance work order request.
- Stacks pallets and moves parts of pallets to new locations for use as needed.
- Dumps skip buckets of broken blocks and throw-aways.
- Inspects forklift for safety and proper working condition.
- Maintains and fuels forklift including checking oil and water.
- Keep work area clean.
- Performs required paperwork.
- All other duties and responsibilities are assigned from time to time by the company or its designed representatives.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
- Predictable and Regular in-person attendance is required.
- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- Able to read the tape measure.
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties and be forklift certified.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling,
- Reaching with hands and arms.
- Lifting up-to 100 pounds.
- Work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, heat or cold (non-weather) conditions.
- Very loud noise.
- Plant environment, exposure to dust.
