Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast’s award-winning network of outstanding hospitals imaging centers laboratories and post-acute services.

Welcomes and assists patients, family members and other visitors with information regarding department services. Serves as a liaison between hospital departments, personnel, physician offices and assists with problem resolution and coordinates and organizes the surgery scheduling process. Serves as the Lead Surgery Scheduler for PHC. Assists with training new and current Surgery Scheduler staff and providing support. Performs audits of workflows and processes at other PHC clinics.

5 years of experience in a medical office environment with knowledge of medical surgical terminology.

Medical Terminology course or equivalent experience.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to use a computer. Strong organizational skills.

Ability to participate as a member of a team; and reliability and punctuality.
Excellent customer service and public relations skills
