Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
- Provide support to students with special needs or individualized education plans
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during classroom activities and outdoor playtime
- Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among students
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians

Requirements:
- Completed DCF 45 hours required if previously employed at Early Education industry.
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or toddler care setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate educational practices preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with students, parents/guardians, and other staff members
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Experience working with students with special needs or in a special education setting is a plus
