The Junior Buyer for Weiler Labeling Systems is responsible for customer quotations on spare parts and upgrades. Manage all aspects of purchasing of parts while taking into account cost-effective solutions and excellent customer service. In this role, you will....

• Work with the engineering and aftermarket teams to ensure 95% of-time delivery of all customer orders.
• Complete all Job BOMS for order
• Create new items master records for newly released parts
• Create and assess purchase orders for accuracy and compliance
• Request price quotes and negotiate pricing from vendors
• Compare quotes against requirements and place purchase orders
• Proactively communicate delivery status to appropriate entity
• Implement inventory planning strategies that meet service level requirements.
• Participate in cycle count activities.
• Place purchase orders for materials and confirm delivery with suppliers, expedite material as needed
• Coordinate schedules with outside suppliers and ensure on time delivery of components.
• Drive cost savings in the supply chain
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who we’re looking for?

• High school diploma
• Some College or BS/BA Preferred
• Two years’ experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Willingness to learn and perform other duties as required by departmental needs
