SUMMARY :

Responsible for providing supportive activities in the operation of the lab, samples and related daily maintenance.

1. Maintains and stocks supplies, tools, and related items.

2. Cleans laboratory glassware according to GLP methods; picks up, transports and delivers glassware to required location(s) keeping wash and storage area clean and organized.

3. Assists with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations; receives guidance and direction or escalates when required.

4. May pick up, transports and delivers samples, documents, materials and other items as needed.

5. Assists with reviewing, completing and processing documents, databases, and related materials and information for sample pick up, transport and delivery.

6. Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.

Education and Experience : High school diploma or equivalent; experience in related work is preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Required Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations : Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.

May require a Valid Driver’s License.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT :

Work could be performed on the road and in an office or lab setting. Work could be subject to travel, weather conditions, exposure to blood or bodily fluids, chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors and related items in an environmental, office or lab setting.
