Join us as a Group Leader, where you’ll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Services department. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®. 

Candidate will supervise 7-12 employees as well as perform their current laboratory responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Pace Management team to maintain and develop strategies to ensure that Pace continues to provide our customers with a high level of service

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll do 

• Perform current outsourced lab assignments 
• Routinely providing performance feedback and guidance to employees in addition to conducting formal evaluations and reviews 
• Play a key role in new employee on-boarding including assisting the clients with pre-employment activities, arranging training plans and evaluating initial performance 
• Help ensure continued employee adherence to policy requirements of the industry, client and Pace 
• Serve as the key contact for employee vacation requests, training, and policy questions 
• Maintain contact with employees' clients to solicit feedback regarding performance and to seek additional areas where Pace can provide service 
• Build strong team morale through group meetings, activities, 1 on 1 updates, etc.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in groups, 1 on 1, in person and in writing on a wide variety of topics.
• Effectively plan and run meetings to accomplish team goals, build a stronger team and provide updates
• Work with Pace management and HR to identify and address employee performance and client relation issues and successes

QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll bring 

• Minimum 6 months on-site experience in current role
• Current Pace employee working in the Solventum Purification and Filtration Group - Scientific Insourcing Services team with a track record of providing great customer service for their client
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Be detail oriented, highly organized, and manage time well 
• Be team oriented 
• Have good problem-solving skills
