Position Summary:

Box Office Attendants are charged with providing outstanding ticketing and coat check services to all guests of Pablo Center at the Confluence. As one of the first stops for many of our patrons, the box office is an area that requires associates with high energy and an expert level of hospitality. Box office attendants will be responsible for processing ticket purchases, memberships, and coat check transactions. The ideal candidate will display a positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality, and a desire to learn and be coached. This position reports to the Box Office Manager.

This part-time position averages 5-25 hours per week annually, though based on the events schedule some weeks will have more activity and some weeks will have minimal activity. Schedule will flex between daytime, evening and weekend hours depending on the events schedule, with a majority of hours on nights and weekends.

Requirements

 Responsibilities

• Sells tickets, processes ticket orders and answers questions at the counter and over the phone.
• Processes and distributes will call for events.
• Operates Patron Manager and APEX ticketing software and manages credit card and cash transactions. 
• Stocks inventory. 
• Keeps the Box Office looking clutter free and well presented. 
• Assists in Box Office opening and closing. 
• Proactively problem solves. 
• Effectively and kindly communicates with patrons and staff. 
• Assists Box Office Manager with ticket reports and projects. 
• Develops rapport with patrons of Pablo Center at the Confluence.
• Collecting and retrieving patron’s coats, and accessories. 
• Hang coats neatly and provide patrons with the correct retrieval number. 
• Keep Coat Check looking clutter free and well presented. 
• Answer patron questions in a positive manner. 
• All other duties as assigned. 
• Required to work collaboratively for extended periods of time and in close proximity, distances under 5’ (five feet) with Artists, Patrons, Students, Community Members, Board Members and Pablo Center Staff. 

Preferred Skills 

• Customer service experience with references.
• Experience with ticket sales is preferred.
