Duties / Responsibilities:

Accountable for managing and developing production teams including team member time management, performance management, and temp to hire selection

Accountable for supporting plant up-time goals

Oversight of product quality

Oversight of production related training

Oversight of materials inventory, scrap reporting, and NMR

Direct troubleshooting for out of control production processes

Direct work cell setup activities

Lead and Train Team Leader Assistant

Oversight of presses, cleaning station equipment, work cell cleanliness, and PWI conformance

Monitor and maintain production logs, machine logs, IQ reporting, and end of shift documentation

Make recommendations on Process Work Instruction improvements, plant efficiency improvements, safety improvements and quality improvements

Interface with all internal teams and leadership

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in manufacturing related field preferred

3 years’ experience in various production roles

3 years’ experience in a supervisory role

1 year experience in injection molding operator, materials handler preferred

Demonstrated ability to maintain open communications and tenacious follow up

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and ERP software; use of IQMS preferred

Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards and continuous improvement methods

Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 55 lbs, travel throughout the facility, and differentiate between all colors
