Job Summary : We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities :
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock according to customer orders
- Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently.Organize and maintain warehouse space.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Valid driver's license may be required for certain roles.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) may be required.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Work Environment :
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Fast-paced and sometimes high-stress environment.
- May require working in confined spaces and at heights.
