P&A Recruiting is Hiring a Remote Sales Hunter

Position Overview:
On of our clients is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Hunter to join their team. As a Sales Hunter, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving revenue growth through the sale of their transit software solutions to transportation agencies, transit operators, and related organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, ideally in the software industry, as well as exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and pain points of potential clients in the transit industry.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and activities in CRM software.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to develop customized solutions tailored to the unique requirements of clients.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide post-sales support and maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the software industry to the government, with a focus on acquiring new clients.
  • Some understanding of the transit industry and familiarity with transit operations, technology, and challenges.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling software solutions to transportation agencies, transit operators, or similar organizations.
  • Existing network of contacts within the transit industry.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

  • Commission pay

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
