ESTIMATOR - CIVIL & HEAVY/HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION

P.A. Landers, Inc. is a major construction company specializing in roadway and site work construction. Located in Hanover, we have been in business for nearly 40 years and we are adding to our team! We are searching for an Estimator for civil, heavy & highway disciplines.

This is a dynamic and challenging position. The ideal candidate will be self – sufficient and have the ability to develop estimates from start to finish on public and private bids for Mass DOT, city, town, commercial, and residential work. This will include downloading and procuring plans and documents, performing measurement takeoffs, requests for information, solicitation of quotations, final pricing and proposals.

As a member of our team, you will assist the construction department and job site personnel by formulating change orders, work orders, revision management, and final conformed estimates for incorporation into our computerized job cost system, HCSS Heavy Job. You will also support the team with information required to finalize submittals, purchase orders, contract agreements and claims.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF is required. Ability to use estimating software similar to HCSS Heavy Bid, and earthwork software similar to InSite SiteWork is also required. AutoCAD experience would be an outstanding factor, but not required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
