POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Program Director, the Sports Coordinator assists with scheduling games and staff, field maintenance, and filling in when needed to officiate sports matches held at centers, camps, or off-site at other facilities. He or she attends, monitors, and regulates games and trains staff to enforce rules during games, as well as how to demonstrate the Y’s Core Values of Caring, Respect, Honesty, and Responsibilities while communicating with staff, sports participants, and parents.
