POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Event and Rentals Coordinator at Ozarks Regional YMCA maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals. This position is responsible forassisting in the setup, service and tear down of member rental events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Review rental agreements for booked parties/events and details to provide exemplary customer service.
2. Set up events per the rental agreement.
3. Review “Renter’s Code of Conduct”, “Chaperone Expectations”, and “Facility Check” with adults responsible for the event.
4. Give tours of the facility to adults responsible for the event.
5. Collect monies due and provide receipts.
6. Make rounds and check in with chaperones and participants during the event.
7. Make final walk through at the end of the event with responsible party and maintenance staff to complete the “Facility Check” form.
8. Ensure participants are all cleared from the facility at the end of the event.
9. Turn in completed check forms, waivers, and all other paperwork/notes.
10. Be knowledgeable and adhere to Safety Policies, Procedures and Emergency Response Plans. Always keeping Safety at the forefront of your mind.
11. Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Mature, responsible, easy-going individuals with good communication skills.
3. Previous customer service and building supervision experience preferred.
4. Must be able to interact with kids and adults in a positive manner, enthusiastic, flexible.
5. Must be able to align with and demonstrate the YMCA four core values on a consistent basis.
6. CPR Pro & First Aid Certification required within the first 30 days (training can be provided).

4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
