Job Summary: The Design and Digital Content Specialist works with the Director of Business Development and Communications/Marketing staff to coordinate community relations, marketing, and employee morale initiatives for Ozarks Community Hospital. They design, create, and maintain graphics to meet specific organizational needs, such as displays, brochures, rack cards, logos, and various promotional materials. This individual is responsible for managing the OCH website and monitoring the OCH social media platforms. This individual works with Communications/Marketing staff in partnership with department managers to coordinate and participate in a variety of awareness, education, promotional and marketing events for hospital and clinic locations. The role strives to communicate services, initiatives and the OCH mission within the organization and the community.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field required. May be waived with compensatory experience.
· At least one (1) year of experience in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design or related field required. May be waived with compensatory education.
· Some daytime travel to be expected.
· Participation in some weekend and/or evening events to be expected.
· Experience in healthcare a plus.
