South Bay Mazda and Oxnard Mazda. The assistant will work directly with the General Manager at both locations. $60,000 - $102,000 yearly

• Support the sales staff in meeting or exceeding sales goals by providing sales training to drive best practices in follow-up communication, and closing deals
• Direct day-to-day showroom operations to establish a positive environment for customers and employees, alike
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all auto sales to increase retention and referrals to drive repeat car sales
• Participate actively in the recruiting process to hire automotive sales representatives for all positions
• Help auto group exceed profitability goals by tracking progress to monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts

• Stellar organizational, computer, leadership, financial, sales management, and interpersonal skills are crucial
• Have a strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting vehicle sales and the automotive industry, as a whole
• 5 years of experience in an automotive dealership setting, with a minimum of one year serving in a sales management capacity, is desired
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent - highly qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree

• Must have used car management experience
